Everyone can stomp their feet at the Melab. There is a giant LED-lighted dance floor that catches the hearts of young and old alike. I enjoyed a wonderful visit with my husband and toddler. We went on a Monday in the afternoon because we wanted to miss the morning crowd. Always check the Museum's website for their schedule and exhibition information. We ended up spending about 3 to 4 hours in the museum in total. We arrived there at about 1 PM and we left at about four, that day the museum closed at 5 PM. The museum is made up of 6 levels with 5 of them being available to the public. The private level houses the administrative offices and learning center. The museum has different exhibitions throughout the year so it's wise to pick up a map when purchasing your tickets. In addition, it is important to keep track and look at the planetarium show schedule to attend the show. This show gets packed quickly (with good reason, it's a must!) so make it a priority to arrive 15-20 minutes before showtime to be able to make it in at your planned time. The planetarium show is an incredible experience. With 8K projection, surround sound, and gigantic dome screen, the experience is sure to become a cherished memory. There are other interactive activities for kids to enjoy. You can touch the stingrays or play with the kid-friendly water activity tables. In addition, many different visual interactive activities use digital projections on floors and walls. The Museum dedicates itself to science education with active laboratories run by resident scientists. Overall this museum is a must for a family trip because there’s always something fun, new and educational to see at the Frost Museum of Science. Things to Consider Before Your Visit Make sure to plan your trip using the museum's webpage and exhibition schedule. In addition, be prepared to be patient with parking, spaces are limited and there is a parking fee that changes according to museum events. The museum has a reasonably priced cafe but taking snacks is encouraged, especially if you are going with your little ones. Speaking of little ones, consider taking a second set of clothes because there are areas in the museum that encourage water play. 3 facts about Frost Science museum 1. Solar "trees" power the museum.
