Indian Creek and Tom Branch falls One of our adventures took place in the Great Smoky Mountains National park. We arrived at the trails late in the afternoon, around 4 pm. The hike roundtrip is about 1.6 miles long and there is also a 0.7-mile option in case you only want to see falls and creek. It's nice to have these options as the trail takes 1-2 hours to complete. The trails were wide and the scenery was beautiful. I think at some point I almost shed a tear of happiness and awe. Nature can be so emotionally moving. My only regret was that we arrived so late in the day and were not able to explore the entire hike because we kept on taking pictures and stopping to look and enjoy nature's splendor. I am looking forward to going back. *Note: Pets are not allowed on this trail and I highly suggest bringing proper footwear(hiking shoes) as parts of the hike get muddy and slipper * See below for video and directions. |
